Squadron overview

Create or join a squadron, manage a roster, and understand which shared surfaces your plan includes.

A squadron is a shared space for a crew of pilots. It provides a roster and, on eligible plans, shared gear, check-outs, analytics, costs, and organization workflows.

Joining a squadron

You need an entry code from the squadron's owner or manager:

  1. Open Squadron from the sidebar.
  2. Select Join via Code and paste the code.
  3. Confirm the join.

Entry codes have an expiry chosen by the owner or manager. You remain a member until you leave or an authorized organization action removes your membership.

Creating a squadron

Creating a squadron is available on every tier. It creates the roster; the plan controls what the roster can do next.

  1. Open Squadron and select Establish Squadron.
  2. Enter a name and description.
  3. You become the owner.
  4. Generate an entry code or invite eligible organization members.

A Free squadron is roster-only. Pro and above include shared gear and the shared operational surfaces described in Shared gear.

Squad HQ

Squad HQ can show:

  • roster members, roles, join dates, session counts, flight time, and packs;
  • shared hanger, check-out, ledger, and failure-analytics links when your plan and role allow them; and
  • management controls for owners and authorized managers.

Leaving a squadron

Leave from the squadron page when you no longer need access. Your personal logs and personal hanger remain yours. Gear contributed to the squadron remains with the shared fleet.

An owner must transfer ownership or delete the squadron before leaving. Deleting the squadron requires explicit confirmation and affects the shared space, not your personal record.
