Incident and near-miss reporting
File organization safety reports, record manager follow-through, and review the fixed four-hour target.
Enterprise Solo and Enterprise organizations can use Incident & near-miss log in the Safety area. Organization members can file a report with its date, pilot, optional hanger aircraft and client job, severity, description, and injuries or damage.
Manager review
An organization manager can move a report into review, record investigation findings and corrective action, and sign off by closing it. A report opens a fixed four-hour manager-review clock. The target is server-owned and cannot be changed from the separate SLA policy console. Reports and their review history are retained and cannot be deleted.
Grounding an aircraft
Managers can ground an aircraft from an open report only when its hanger drone is linked to the matching firmware airframe. If no linked record appears, link the correct airframe in Firmware & Configuration Control first. BeaconUAV will not ground a different or untracked airframe. Grounding follows the existing firmware airworthiness controls and records the reason and actor.
Audit packages
Incident reports, manager sign-off, and grounding details can be included in an audit package. The package's date, pilot, and airframe filters apply to those rows too.
Incident reporting is currently available to Enterprise Solo and Enterprise, not Education. It records operational evidence; it does not file FAA authorizations or determine regulatory compliance.
