Drones
Airframes with builds, part installs, crash counters and flight time.
Every quad you own lives in Hanger → Drones & Quads.
Adding a drone
Open the section, click Add gear, and give it a name. Useful extras:
- Brand / model
- Cell count (e.g. 6S) and connector (XT60, etc.)
- Notes: dry weight, motor size, anything
The drone detail page
Click a drone to open its detail page. From here you can:
- See total flight time: every session bound to this airframe, summed automatically.
- Track the crash counter: increment after a crash; the number feeds failure analytics in squadrons.
- Manage the build: the list of parts currently installed on the airframe.
Builds and part installs
A build is the set of parts installed on a drone. When a part breaks and you replace it, install the new part on the drone. The old one comes back to your spares automatically with its install history intact.
- Add the part to your parts inventory (or buy it straight into it).
- Open the drone's detail page and install the part.
- The install records the date, and the part's cost joins the drone's ledger math.
Swapped a motor? Install the replacement instead of editing the old part. Your build history and cost ledger stay truthful.
What powers the ledger
Every part you install on a drone, and its purchase cost, flows into cost per flight hour for that airframe in the personal ledger. A hangar queen costs nothing per hour, while a quad you race weekly spreads its repair costs across real airtime.
