Parts inventory

The master parts inventory is your bench: every spare motor, ESC, frame, camera and prop, whether it's waiting for a build or already installed.

Adding parts

1. Open Gear → Inventory.
2. Click Add part and choose the category: drone parts, transmitter parts, goggle parts or other parts.
3. Record the purchase cost: the money fields drive per-hour costs in the ledger.

Installs

A part is either on the bench or installed in a build:

• Install a part onto a drone from the drone's detail page (or the parts page).
• Uninstalling returns the part to the bench, and its history stays.
• Installs record the date, so you know how long a part has lived in a build.

Where costs go

Installed parts contribute their cost to the host drone's cost per flight hour. Parts on the bench don't count toward any rig's cost until they're installed; they're spare stock.
