Quickstart
Create your BeaconUAV account, configure the basics, and log your first session in under five minutes.
From zero to your first useful flight record in five minutes.
1. Create your account
Open BeaconUAV and choose Start your logbook.
Continue with Google or use an email and password. If you sign up with email, confirm the address through the link we send before signing in.
Signed up with Google and want a password later? Use Forgot password with your Google email to set one.
2. Take the tour, or skip it
Your first sign-in offers a guided tour and a getting-started checklist. Both are optional. Take the tour, skip it, or replay it later from Settings. You land on the Dashboard either way.
3. Set your profile
Open Your profile and choose a callsign, display name, weekly goal, accent color, and privacy setting. This makes roster and dashboard context useful from the beginning.
4. Add gear
Open Fleet → My gear, choose a section, and select Add gear. Add at least one airframe if you want rig-specific hours and service signals.
The personal hanger is included on every plan, Free too.
5. Log your first session
- Open Log.
- Choose Real World or Simulator.
- Select Log session.
- Enter the date and duration, then add the airframe or simulator details.
- Bind your radio, goggles, battery set, packs, saved location, crashes, conditions, and notes when they apply.
- Save the session.
Your session immediately feeds the dashboard. Bound gear also feeds the hanger, batteries, ledger, readiness, and Insights where those surfaces are available.
