Personal ledger

Your true flying costs: cost per flight hour across quads, radios, goggles, packs and parts.

The Cost Ledger answers the question every pilot avoids: what does this hobby actually cost me per hour?

How it's calculated

For every item in your hanger:

cost per flight hour = (purchase price + installed parts + repairs)
รท flight hours bound to that item
  • Purchase costs come from the price you record on gear and parts.
  • Hours come from sessions bound to that gear.
  • Unflown gear shows cost so far, zero hours: the hangar-queen warning.

Views

The ledger has two shareable views, switchable with the tab control (or ?tab=breakdown):

ViewShows
Fleet overviewTotal spend, total hours, blended cost per hour across everything.
Per-gear breakdownCost per hour for each item, sorted so the expensive toys are obvious.

Pack totals

Battery costs spread across packs flown, so you see the per-pack cost of real-world airtime, a number that surprises most pilots the first time.

Tip:

The ledger only knows what you tell it. Add purchase prices when you add gear, or retrofit them later from each item's detail page.

From the ledger to the hanger

Click through any row to the gear's detail page to fix a price, add a part or review its session history. Adding a purchase from the ledger deep-links straight into the hanger's add-gear dialog.
