For Part 107 pilots

The drone logbook app for Part 107 pilots

Flying for pay means keeping more than a flight count. Clients ask what you flew, when, and whether it was covered. Your own business needs to know which aircraft is due for service and what each job cost to fly.

BeaconUAV is a Part 107 drone logbook app that keeps all of that on one record. Every flight links to its aircraft, batteries, location, and notes, and the same record feeds maintenance, airspace paperwork, and the client job it belongs to.

What BeaconUAV handles

Show what you flew for a client

Link flights to a client job, then send quotes, invoices, and deliverables from the same place. Clients open their documents from a private link without an account.

Keep airspace authorizations on file

Record a LAANC grant, Part 107 waiver, COA, or landowner permission with its reference, area, ceiling, and validity window. A job warns you when nothing on file covers its dates. BeaconUAV does not file with the FAA or verify an authorization for you.

Know which aircraft is ready

Service intervals, crash counters, and battery health update from each logged flight, so the readiness panel shows what needs work before you drive to a site.

Hand over an organized record

Build a printable FAA audit package from your records when someone with the right to review them asks, and export your own data as CSV or JSON at any time.

Questions

Does Part 107 require a pilot logbook?
Part 107 does not set a logbook format for remote pilots. Many commercial pilots keep one anyway because clients, insurers, and their own maintenance depend on the record. See our guide to Part 107 records for what the rule does require.
Can I import flights from my DJI or Autel aircraft?
Yes. Supported DJI, Autel, and generic CSV flight logs import into your personal logbook on any plan, and on Enterprise Solo you can file them under a client job. Encrypted formats need to be exported to a supported format first.
